So, we are participating in Just Writing Malaysia graffiti event that will held this coming 28th February. Because that our usual stuff was mainly character, we need to practice dong letter this time. We are writing our name!

I participated in the Lebih Ceria Bersama Program as a mentor to school kids. It was really good exposure for them to learn how to do graffiti. Surprisingly they are good for the first timer.

graffiti for Hajj Shop

I went to Kuala Pilah to do this graffiti for a Hajj products Shop. it was awesome to think that a shop like that wants graffiti art to be painted at their shop. I think that it's actually a good choice and suitable for them.

The KIS crew took about 4 tiring days to finish this graffiti using about a hundred cans of

Montana Gold. During the project we are really looking deeper in ourselves in finding the meaning of Merdeka to us. It was not an easy task but Usman Awang's poem 'Tanah air' helped inspired us during the thinking process and this idea was the result of it.

The poem goes:

Engkau Tanah Air

pemilik perut yang berbudi

penampung hujan penyedut sinar mentari

lahirlah anakmu dari semaian petani

Engkau Ibu Murni

dengan jasa abadi

berdetik didenyut nafas kami

kerna kita satu sama dipunyai

Telah kau rasa

segala seperti kami

dalam ngeri perang dadamu dibongkar besi

di mana-mana wajahmu tak pernah mati

Tapi begitu

sejarah hidup zaman berzaman

pernah merangkul pahlawan kemerdekaan

mereka sujud dalam kaku

mohon perlindungan

Bukankah dengan

kasih dan harapan

kau tenggelamkan mereka dalam dakapan

di mana bunga ganti nisan bertaburan

Negara baru

di atas rongga jantungmu

 This is one of the most energy draining project for my team. we move from Kota Damansara
(4.00 a.m.), Selangor to Johor Bahru (9.00 a.m.) and finish the job at 11.00 p.m. and went straight back home where I arrive at 3.00 a.m. which make it almost 24 hours of working time. but as long as our customer happy, we are happy yo!

the customer requested donald duck doing laundry for the image of his shop. I think that it is a really good choice because everyone can recognize Donald Duck. We grew up watching Donald Duck and the new generation still watching it!

The Operating Instructions had already written on the machine itselves so we just highlight the important keywords and simple icons.

That is what I believe graffiti can help you achieve. My own testimonial are when there is graffiti inside your shop or property, it will instantly become a centre of attention. Later people would want to take a selfie and share it to the world and boom! free advertising.

Graffiti Workshop at Program Bakat Remaja Gaya Hidup Rakan Muda
